Regulator Cressi Galaxy T10SC Chrome
The regulator Cressi Galaxy T10SC Chrome has a modern design and has been improved to be part of the top of the range of the Cressi brand. Among the virtues it offers is its pneumatically compensated mechanism, where you will always have the best delivery of abundant air and very well calibrated. Also noteworthy is its ultra-light second stage, the tool-free hinge box opening and its oversized intake diaphragm.
First Stage T10SC Chrome_Int Output:
- Modern, easy to maintain, robust and reliable T-shaped overcompensated diaphragm. Thanks to this shape, the faucet is better integrated, offering greater freedom of movement of the head.
- It has a satin chrome coating, protecting against impacts and shocks.
- It has a HP seat, made of AISI316 stainless steel. stainless steel AISI316.
- Its polyurethane valve is of high mechanical resistance.
- It also has hypercompensation in the mechanism, offering the highest level of performance in the final phase of immersion.
- It has a very effective filter, two HP outlets and two LP outlets.
- It is supplied in INT (stirrup) and DIN 300 bar versions.
- The DIN is made of stainless steel, offering a better resistance and being better protected against impacts or blows.
- INT outlet.
Technical specifications:
- High Pressure Outlets (HP) 2 - 7/16
- Low Pressure Outlets (LP) 4 - 3/8
- System/compensation: overcompensated diaphragm.

- Tare regulator scale +/- 0.5 bar
Second Stage Galaxy:
- The mechanism has been pneumatically compensated, bringing smoothness to the flow rate in conjunction with an abundant and very well calibrated air delivery.
- In order to manage the Venturi effect, it has a Drive-Predive Drive-Predive deflector.
- It is ultra-light and belongs to the top of the range, and has been manufactured with semi-flexible sound-absorbing technopolymers in conjunction with noise dampers.
- It offers greater inspiratory smoothness, thanks to its oversized intake membrane.
- It has a heat exchanger that prevents air freezing when diving in cold water.
Technical specifications:
- Technopolymer.
- Weight: 185 g.
- Dimensions: 7.5 x 6 c.
- Hose: 80 cm Superflow.
- Venturi system: no.
- Pneumatic compensation: yes.
- Dive/Pre-dive deflector: yes.
- Average flow 2500 l/min.
The scuba regulator is the one that allows us to breathe the air contained in the tank. It regulates the air and makes it go from the pressure in the tank to a pressure suitable for the diver.
Para choosing your regulator you must be clear about the type of use you want to give it and the characteristics that will be necessary for that use.
ACCORDING TO THE TYPE OF PRACTICE
- Dives from 0 to 20m: choose a single piston regulator or a regulator with an uncompensated diaphragm.
- Dives over 20m: choose a regulator with either a single piston or a balanced diaphragm.
- Diving in cold water: it will be necessary to have an anti-freezing system.
- Diving at great depth: choose Venturi or Vortex to facilitate breathing.
- Conception
- Single piston: simple, resistant and very easy to take care of. It is the standard regulator par excellence.
- Balanced piston: more technical and professional as it offers a larger air flow in case of need.
- Balanced diaphragm: better insulated for heavy water and ideal for cold water.
- Comfort
- 1st Stage:
- Uncompensated: comfort for dives up to 20m.
- Compensated. Uniform and ample air flow in any situation.
- 2nd Stage:
- Compensated: increases breathing comfort
- Venturi effect: facilitates inspiration with an acceleration in the arrival of air.
- 1st Stage:
The regulator is undoubtedly one of the most important parts of the equipment, it is important to know how to take care of it
- Rinse it with fresh water after each use: for which we will first check that the cap of the connection to the bottle is correctly placed
- Store it in the shade and do not expose it to high temperatures
- Take special care that no tube is forcibly bent
- Put it in the hands of specialized technicians for periodical revisions
- Para when transporting it, store it separately from the rest of the equipment and with extreme care
- Never take the bottles by the regulator (or in the water)
