With a rigid and compact Hagane aluminum body, the SpeedMaster II eliminates any flex under pressure, ensuring perfect alignment of the internal gears. It also incorporates Shimano's exclusive E.I. anti-corrosion treatment, perfect for resisting marine salinity in the harshest conditions.

Internally, its stainless steel gears are backed by 4 shielded S A-RB bearings, which maintain smooth performance even at high speeds or under extreme stress. The progressive lever brake system allows for quick and precise adjustments, and includes an additional second lever with a less aggressive drag curve, ideal for monofilament lines and pelagic fishing.
