Odyssey Square 2 Square Tri-Hot Jailbird Putter
A breakthrough in Zero-Torque putter design. Odyssey's new S2S TRI-HOT multi-material construction elevates performance in this category by eliminating shaft tilt and positioning the shaft closer to the face than other putters in its class, promoting a more stable trajectory and a face that stays square throughout the stroke.
The S2S TRI-HOT Jailbird incorporates Odyssey's most advanced insert to date: the dual-layer urethane Ai-DUAL, which provides consistent ball speed across the face, improved forward roll and solid, controlled feel at every impact.
Technologies
Multi-material construction
Through the strategic use of aluminum, steel and over 140g of tungsten, a true Zero-Torque putter is achieved, with over 80% of the weight below the topline, allowing for advanced center of gravity (CG) and hosel placement for greater stability and control.
Ai-DUAL insert
Dual-layer urethane insert designed with artificial intelligence:
Soft outer layer for better feel.
Firm inner layer for more efficient energy transfer.
Ensures consistent ball speed, improved forward roll and exceptional feel across the face.
New FRD (Forward Roll Design) groove design
Deeper, more aggressive 19° sloped grooves work in conjunction with the Ai-DUAL insert to optimize forward roll and improve consistency at both high and low impacts across the face.
New Pistol Plus grip
Medium pistol grip with defined edges for a comfortable fit in the hands and better feel for the position of the putter face throughout the stroke.
SL 120 Black Shafts
Black PVD-finished shafts developed from Tour feedback. It is heavier and stiffer than the SL 90, offering greater stability and control, ideal for the Zero-Torque concept.

As any player knows well, the importance of the putter in the final result of the game is vital, therefore our first advice is that when you go to acquire a putter take all the time in the world when selecting it.
The putter is something very personal, but perhaps the following tips can guide you in something
- Check that the entire base of the putter sits on the ground, if it does then the club fits you
- Check the tempo of your swing. As a general guideline, those with a less rhythmic swing will need a heavier head, while players with a rhythmic swing will use lighter heads
- You should also take into account their physical characteristics. Generally, heavier heads will be needed for heavier players
- Select a light putter for a fast green and a heavy one on a slow green
