Manufactured in Hiroshima, Japan, at the Mizuno facility where Mizuno irons have been produced since 1968.
Enhanced Feel and Control
Harmonic Impact Technology: Tuned head geometry for optimal feel and response at impact.
Copper Base Layer: Thin copper layer underneath the chrome-nickel that improves feel when striking the ball.
Maximum Spin and Accuracy in All Conditions
Quad Cut Grooves:
Narrow, deep grooves for lower lofts, optimizing spin on long shots.
Wide, shallow grooves on higher lofts, improving control near the green.
Hydroflow Micro Grooves: Laser etched to channel moisture and maintain maximum spin in wet conditions.
Front Milling Lines: Increased roughness on the wedge face for more controlled spin on short shots.
Center of Gravity (COG) Tailored to Each Loft
Progressive Loft/COG design provides greater control and stability on every shot, adapting to different game situations.
Specific Head Shapes: Design tailored to each loft, optimizing performance from pitching wedge to lob wedge.
Sole and Bounce Options for Maximum Versatility
Type M: Medium bounce with moderate relief for smooth, precise handling.
Type S: High bounce with limited relief, ideal for full and consistent shots.
Type C: Medium/high bounce with generous relief, suited to a wide variety of conditions and playing styles.
The Mizuno Pro T-3 Soft Black Ion Wedge is the perfect choice for golfers seeking a balance of feel, control and versatility, offering maximum short game performance with Mizuno's signature refinement.
If you have a sharp or flat attack with the ball, live in a place with a lot of rain or the fairways where you play are very hard, the wegde is the perfect choice for your game.
Most sets of irons usually include a wedge, usually the pitch but many players want to expand their range of wedges and choose their own club. Para so you should consider the following features when making your decision
- WEDGE LOFT
- Pitch (PW): generally included in iron sets, it is the next highest loft club after the 9-iron. It usually has a loft between 46º and 50º and is used in long shots at green.
- Approach (AW): with a lighter loft between 50º-55º, they cover the existing needs between a pitch and the wedge sand.
- Arena (WA): usually used in bunker play due to their high rebound, they reach 100 yards and have a loft between 54º and 58º.
- Lob Wedge (LW): they throw the ball very high in short distances and are usually between 56º and 60º lofts although they can exceed 64º.
- REBOUND ANGLE
Here we refer to the curved part on the sole of the wedge that will allow the head to bounce out of the sand without getting caught.
The highest bounce we can find is 18º and we can conclude that the higher the bounce angle, the higher the shots.- Low bounce: perfect for shots from tight positions and thick grass conditions. The lower the bounce of the wegde, the easier it will be to shoot high and the softer the landing. They are perfect for low lofts with the pitch and are used for longer approach shots.
- Standard bounce: ideal for almost all conditions and players as they are very versatile wedges with a slightly higher angle of attack than most.
- High bounce: designed for play off the turf and sand, with a wider flange and a higher bounce angle that prevents cavation.
Para golfers with high angles are perfect for this type of wedges.
- FINISHES
In general, the wegde finish is purely aesthetic rather than functional although in the case of finishes such as matte, they do not help to reduce light reflection on the club and those with natural finishes are designed primarily to prevent corrosion.
