Semiautomatic Rifle Browning BAR MK4 Tracker One
Semiautomatic of the BAR family optimized for hunting/mountaineering in closed bush and fast positions. Features a shorter 47 cm barrel for better maneuverability, fiber optic sights and muzzle thread for accessories.
Features:
- Platform: semi-automatic by gas intake (BAR MK4), smooth and reliable cycle.
- Barrel: 47 cm, ribbed to reduce weight and improve thermal dissipation.
- Muzzle thread: M14x1 for muzzle brake or other compatible accessories.
- Sights: Fiber optic ri flescope for fast target acquisition.
- Available calibers: .30-06 Springfield and .300 Winchester Magnum.
Advantages of the 47 cm barrel
- Superior maneuverability in dense vegetation and tight quarters.
- Faster approach and agile balance for tracking in the hunt.
- Very slight loss of velocity compared to 53 cm, generally irrelevant at typical hunting distances.
M14x1 thread and accessories
- Muzzle brake: reduces recoil and rise, especially recommended for .300 WM.
- Warning: always use hearing protection.
- Thread protector: keep on when not using accessories.
Caliber:
- .30-06 Spr: versatile, more contained recoil, great ammunition availability.
- .300 WM: more energy and flush; ideal if you alternate longer shots, at the cost of more recoil/flashback (can be mitigated with muzzle brake).
