Maintenance tips

To keep your headband (and in general all leather products) in perfect condition, we recommend you follow these guidelines:

1. Initial treatment:
   When you purchase a new bridle or browband, the leather may be stiff. Do not apply grease directly. First treat the leather with plenty of special leather oil, either by soaking it overnight or applying it with a brush. This will nourish the leather deeply.

2. Regular cleaning:
   After each use, wipe off sand or sweat with a dry cloth or soft bristle brush. With frequent use, perform a deeper cleaning at least once a month using specific leather soap, avoiding excess water.

3. Leather nourishment:
   Once dry, apply leather grease or leather balm. If the leather is very dry, it is better to use oil first. Spread evenly with a soft cloth for best results.

4. Storage:
   Store leather products in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid excessive humidity.
   Glass decorations should be cleaned simply with a damp cloth.
