The mid-priced Yasei AX Pike Casting is a range that has been specially developed for fishing the largest pike, using large (size 300) or round profile baitcasting reels, along with extra large lures. Capable of handling the largest lures, you'll never feel under-armed with a Yasei AX Pike Casting rod in your arsenal.

By the very nature of the rods' design and intended use, it takes a very special angler to use one of the three models in this range. You will certainly need a reasonable amount of experience and the confidence that bigger is better when hunting pike with some of the larger lures available.

The lightest rod in the range is the 2.50m XH (Extra Heavy) which has a casting weight of 40-100g. The middle rod is the 2.30 m XXH (Extra Extra Heavy) which can handle lures in the 56-170 g range, and the strongest rod is the 2.60 m Extreme which is capable of working with lures in the massive 120-270 g range.

All rods cast remarkably well, but you must use them with the right size lures to get the best out of them. For boat anglers, all three models make excellent big-water trolling rods, with the Extreme being an excellent choice for deep lakes, where the chances of catching the biggest pike are at their best.

As you can imagine, rods capable of casting the biggest lures must be strong and powerful, and all Yasei AX Pike Casting models use a high modulus carbon blank constructed with Hi-Power X technology and nano alloy. This creates immense strength and reduces blank spin when casting and playing extreme fish sizes. When it comes to power, these rods are at the top of their game and can handle just about anything you throw at them.

To further increase overall performance, the rods are equipped with the latest design Fuji Alconite K-type guides that are lightweight, yet immensely strong and suitable for both braided and mono main lines.

In keeping with the high quality design, a Fuji IPS reel seat is fitted to the custom designed split grip EVA handle, giving this range a modern and eye-catching appearance to match its brilliant fishing performance.
