The Savage 110 Timberline Bolt Action Rifle has been specially designed for use in long-range hunting and extreme climates. With a modern design and optimized ergonomics, the Timberline model of the legendary 110 series has all the outstanding features of the series. The barrel has a medium 22 (559 mm) fluted contour, is made of carbon steel and is rifled using the button rifling technique, of which SAVAGE is a true specialist, hence the famed precision of its barrels. The barrel, frame and other main parts come with a Cerakote OD Green finish that provides special protection against corrosion. It has a detachable magazine with capacity for 4 bullets.
Its gray fiber stock offers the AccuFit system, which allows shooters to quickly adjust the cheekpiece height and stock length. Continuing with the gray fiber stock, it features molded grip surfaces on the handguard and pistol grip. It offersfive interchangeable cheek pieces and four spacers. The butt pad is made of a soft, pleasant, thick rubbery material that effectively absorbs the recoil of the most powerful calibers. It is particularly rigid and does not flex at its end in the event of a break.
The trigger system is the famous AccuTrigger, which is fully adjustable by the user and achieves a light, crisp shot in any situation. Used by most Savage rifles, it is characterized by its ultra-short travel and break as a glass rod. It has an integrated trigger safety, like modern polymer pistols, making its behavior simulate a two-stroke trigger. It is user-customizable in weight, from 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg) to 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
The trigger safety is complemented by a manual safety and is positioned behind the action, making it ideal for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. It has three positions: a safe position in which the bolt and trigger are locked; a partially safe position, in which the trigger is locked and the bolt can be operated; finally, the fire position, where the bolt and trigger can be activated and has a visual indicator of a red dot.

When the word Rifle is used, anyone, including a non-expert, evokes a classic Mauser bolt-action rifle of military type. We could say that it is the current rifle par excellence, it is the most used in any hunting modality, the most universal for its variety of calibers, weights, sizes, finishes, applications, manufacturers and prices.
It is a repeating rifle, that is to say a rifle that allows repeating the shot whose action consists of a bolt that, manually operated by a rotation and thrust movement, captures the cartridge from the magazine and introduces it into the chamber "locking it" (closing it), arms the punch or needle, to subsequently allow the shot to be fired.
The mechanism of the bolt can be variable, currently there are bolts with axial action without apparent rotation. The ammunition magazine admits a variable number of cartridges, usually 5 for non-Magnum calibers and 3 or 4 for the latter. Some models allow the use of a detachable magazine.
Repetition should never be confused with automatism.
They are the most accurate rifles and the simplest to build.
In some models, barrels of different caliber can be interchanged, in which case the long action group (Magnum calibers) and the short action group (Magnum calibers) are compatible.
Advantages
- It is the most robust and reliable of all
- High ballistic accuracy (unmatched by other repeating systems)
- The extraction and reloading mechanisms provide total operational safety
- It is slow firing, making it difficult to shoot quickly and fluently
- It is too large for long days of hunting on foot
- The manual action of the bolt unholsters the weapon at each shot, which forces the hunter to retake the aiming elements and means a loss of time that can be crucial in the second shot
- BIG HUNTING RIFLE
Para the purchase of a rifle requires a copy of the ID card and LONG GUN RIFLE PERMIT (D).
