Savage 111 Lightweight Hunter Bolt Action Rifle
Short-action,the Lightweight Hunter series is part of the U.S. manufacturer's Specialty Series group. A high-demand rifle that has been an engineering exercise in weight reduction, without compromising safety. It is available in three cartridges: .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor and .243 Win. Savage has been able to create this lightweight rifle, something that is very demanding for engineering departments and makes the final price more expensive, with a contained price that maximizes accuracy and safety. It has a total weight of 2.5kg. Ideal to be used for stalking.
The stock design combines a straight buttstock with some details more typical of a polymer stock, such as the cutouts under the handguard, specifically eight ventilation slots. Below the grip is a polymer cap with the Savage emblem that provides access to a compartment. The stock has no aluminum bedding, being replaced by two steel pillars that seat the action. It incorporates a removable polymer magazine and four-round magazine plate used by the Axis model.
In order to improve ergonomics, it has four areas with differentiated textures on the handguard and pistol grip, which, together with the fine serrations , guarantees a secure grip on the weapon with wet hands. It has removable pins for rings of a rifle belt. The stock ends in a solid rubber butt pad, with good recoil absorption capacity.
All the work done to reduce weight has been applied not only to the stock, but to all the metal components of the gun. A glance at the action reveals a careful CNC work, in which numerous rebates have been applied to reduce the amount of material and therefore weight. The stock comes standard with two pre-installed Weaver bases for a scope. The weight of the bolt has also been reduced by spiral machining the bolt body. It incorporates two-bolt head for 90° locking, strap extractor and plunger ejector like the rest of the 110 series.
The bolt, with a floating head, is self-centering during locking. Thus, it rests evenly in the action recess and brings the bolt face into full contact with the entire cartridge head. This feature gives the rifle great accuracy.
The 20" carbon steel barrel has been rifled using the "Button rifling" technique. It has a very light contour with a diameter of 26.29mm at the nut of union with the action, which thins to 13.72mm at the muzzle. The muzzle ends in a rounded crown. The nut system between the barrel and action provides very accurate headspace.
The trigger is AccuTrigger and incorporates a safety tab on the tail. A very lightweight trigger that is user adjustable from 1.5 lbs (0.680 kg) to 6 lbs (2.72 kg). It provides a crisp shot, which is valid even for precision shooting. It is complemented by a three-position manual safety located behind the action and therefore accessible to left and right-handers alike.

The procedures are very simple
- You can make the payment in any of the following ways
- Credit card.
- Bank transfer.
- VIP card (this option will also serve to finance your order).
- You will have to send us a photocopy of your ID card and the corresponding firearms permit depending on the type of weapon.
- The shipment will be made to the corresponding Civil Guard Station with Weapons Intervention (please indicate yours in the "Observations" section, which you will find at the end of your order).
It is no secret to anyone who handles a firearm that dirt can be its worst enemy. Corrosion or the storage of foreign matter can hinder the operation of the weapon and, in the case of affecting the cartridges, cause accidents that can have serious consequences.

When the word Rifle is used, anyone, including a non-expert, evokes a classic Mauser bolt-action rifle of military type. We could say that it is the current rifle par excellence, it is the most used in any hunting modality, the most universal for its variety of calibers, weights, sizes, finishes, applications, manufacturers and prices.
It is a repeating rifle, that is to say a rifle that allows repeating the shot whose action consists of a bolt that, manually operated by a rotation and thrust movement, captures the cartridge from the magazine and introduces it into the chamber "locking it" (closing it), arms the punch or needle, to subsequently allow the shot to be fired.
The mechanism of the bolt can be variable, currently there are bolts with axial action without apparent rotation. The ammunition magazine admits a variable number of cartridges, usually 5 for non-Magnum calibers and 3 or 4 for the latter. Some models allow the use of a detachable magazine.
Repetition should never be confused with automatism.
They are the most accurate rifles and the simplest to build.
In some models, barrels of different caliber can be interchanged, in which case the long action group (Magnum calibers) and the short action group (Magnum calibers) are compatible.
Advantages
- It is the most robust and reliable of all
- High ballistic accuracy (unmatched by other repeating systems)
- The extraction and reloading mechanisms provide total operational safety
- It is slow firing, making it difficult to shoot quickly and fluently
- It is too large for long days of hunting on foot
- The manual action of the bolt unholsters the weapon at each shot, which forces the hunter to retake the aiming elements and means a loss of time that can be crucial in the second shot
- BIG HUNTING RIFLE
Para the purchase of a rifle requires a copy of the ID card and LONG GUN RIFLE PERMIT (D).
