Savage 110 Ridge Warrior Bolt Action Rifle
The Ridge Warrior model of the legendary Savage 110 series is characterized by being a very versatile weapon , usable for both sporting and hunting. It features anNRA Mossy Oak Overwatch finish , which places it by appearance more on the hunting side, a camouflage pattern that is well suited to winter woods or desert environments. This camouflage is the official camouflage of the National Rifle Association (NRA).
The stock incorporates the AccuFit system, which allows users to customize both the length and height of the cheekpiece. Four different sized spacers are provided for length and five different cheek pieces. A flathead screwdriver is required to make the modifications.
The butt pad is very soft and provides very good recoil absorption. This model has a ventral part with three hooks or ring-holder bolts to be able to attach both a rifle strap and a bipod simultaneously. The stock is finished on the handguard with a beavertail design, with grooves and textures placed just where the shooter's hands are usually placed. In this rifle, the removable 10-round magazine is Magpul brand, which is a guarantee for the feeding of the weapon. Inside the stock is an aluminum frame or bedding that covers the entire action called AccuStock® for maximum accuracy.
The barrel is made of stainless steel and has a gray protective treatment, which softens and hardens the surface to be totally resistant to all types of scratches. The finish, being matte, does not reflect light and is perfect to complement the camouflage pattern. A heavy, fluted barrel with a threaded tip, which is protected by a thread cover.
The integrated trigger is the well-known AcuTrigger, a trigger considered one of the best by the American community. It has an ultra-short travel, sharp and abrupt break and is user-configurable in relation to weight, ranging from 0.680 kg (1.5 pounds) to 2.72 kg (6 pounds). The trigger safety can be configured with a light weight regulator, something that does not compromise the safety of the rifle. This safety is complemented by a three-position manual safety located on the tang of the action, which is valid for both right-handed and left-handed shooters.
The union between the barrel and the action is made by means of a nut, which allows a very precise headspace. The action and its floating-head bolt ensure that it can self-center during locking, resting evenly in the recess of the action and making the bolt face have full contact with the entire cartridge head. A Picatinny rail with 20 MOAs of tilt from Evolution Gun Works (EGW) is included as standard.

When the word Rifle is used, anyone, including a non-expert, evokes a classic Mauser bolt-action rifle of military type. We could say that it is the current rifle par excellence, it is the most used in any hunting modality, the most universal for its variety of calibers, weights, sizes, finishes, applications, manufacturers and prices.
It is a repeating rifle, that is to say a rifle that allows repeating the shot whose action consists of a bolt that, manually operated by a rotation and thrust movement, captures the cartridge from the magazine and introduces it into the chamber "locking it" (closing it), arms the punch or needle, to subsequently allow the shot to be fired.
The mechanism of the bolt can be variable, currently there are bolts with axial action without apparent rotation. The ammunition magazine admits a variable number of cartridges, usually 5 for non-Magnum calibers and 3 or 4 for the latter. Some models allow the use of a detachable magazine.
Repetition should never be confused with automatism.
They are the most accurate rifles and the simplest to build.
In some models, barrels of different caliber can be interchanged, in which case the long action group (Magnum calibers) and the short action group (Magnum calibers) are compatible.
Advantages
- It is the most robust and reliable of all
- High ballistic accuracy (unmatched by other repeating systems)
- The extraction and reloading mechanisms provide total operational safety
- It is slow firing, making it difficult to shoot quickly and fluently
- It is too large for long days of hunting on foot
- The manual action of the bolt unholsters the weapon at each shot, which forces the hunter to retake the aiming elements and means a loss of time that can be crucial in the second shot
- BIG HUNTING RIFLE
Para the purchase of a rifle requires a copy of the ID card and LONG GUN RIFLE PERMIT (D).
