how to choose your canes?
There are several factors to consider when choosing your cane:
- TUBE. The quality of the aluminum is the quality of the tube. Thus the aluminum 5083 is light, the 5086 is more solid and light and the 6000 is the most balanced and light. There is also the composite tube which is very strong, light and very well balanced
- HANDLE. It must have a mechanism that allows the release of the wrist when you make an upward effort (which can save you from injury in case of a fall)
- SIZE. A good way to choose the size of your cane is to invert it and grip it under the washer; your right arm should form an angle of ±90º.
