Highlights of the product:
- Durable: The use of Monprene® in its manufacture makes this vest an ultra-durable product. It is also resistant to UV rays, chemicals and abrasion, so it does not show the typical signs of wear. Its modular design simplifies repairs even in remote locations. In short, a hydrostatic vest designed to last a lifetime.
- Perfect fit: It is made with a gel that is specifically adapted to the body of each diver, providing maximum comfort and stability. Its inherent buoyancy is virtually nil, reducing the need for ballast. In addition, its intelligent rear-inflated air system allows diving in any position.
- Two in one vestTrav-Tek straps and a fully integrated ballast system. Just a quick change of the HYDROS PRO's clips and the hydrostatic travel vest with harness becomes a piece with integrated ballast pockets. This makes it possible to have a single waistcoat both for diving near home and for travel.
- Customizable and with multiple accessories: Easily add, remove or replace ballast systems, elastic cables, D-rings, accessories and pockets to configure the HYDROS PRO completely to your liking. The large variety of kits and accessories that can be incorporated makes your options endless, and changes can be made very quickly to adapt to any diving situation.
- Easy to transportIt's meant to accompany you on all your travels. It stands out for its instant drying, light weight and compact design and great foldability, and also includes a personalized backpack to carry all your scuba gear on your back.

TechniqueThe following:
- Highly durable: patented injection moulded Monprene® gel harness extremely resistant to UV, chemical and abrasion. The non-woven harness has no Velcro locks or zippers.
- Instant drying: ideal for travel due to its lower water retention and lower weight after immersion.
- Modular design "BC-4-Life": customizable vest in which ballast systems, straps and pockets can be added/removed. Longer service life thanks to easier repairs. Virtually all components, including buckles, are replaceable without sewing.
- Ergonomic 3D design: adapts to the diver's body providing maximum comfort.
- Lightweight: made of advanced lightweight materials.
- Neutral buoyancy: its inherent virtually zero buoyancy requires less ballast, which results in better buoyancy control and a much more satisfactory diving experience.
- Gel adapted to the body: prevents the vest from moving and climbing.
- Double composite backplate: provides maximum stability and comfort. Its individual bottle strap allows for easier placement.
- Flexible torso area: automatically adjusts to each torso length providing excellent comfort and freedom of movement.
- Jointed shoulder straps: they adapt to the shape of the body allowing a perfect fit.
- The 'Kit-Up Assist' system": keeps shoulder straps open for easy placement.
- Cross-flow line: airflow constantly circulates through the inside of the vest, reducing air trapping, improving maneuverability and simplifying deflation from any angle.
- Two-stage inflation: the system of three elastic cables controls the air distribution to obtain a compact shape underwater and great buoyancy on the surface.
- Ballast wing: abrasion resistant and instantly drying. Optimal outer arrangement of the ballast pockets.
- Ballast system with buckle: the quick-sawing buckle, simple, safe and reliable, has a fixed position to simplify handling with one hand.
- Multi-mounted accessory matrix: multiple D-rings and points to accommodate the knife + focus + beacon buoy + whips + crotch strap, etc.
- Intelligent folding system: the shoulder and waistbands are folded and stored on the wing, creating an incredibly compact system that is easy to transport and store.
Jacket care
Having a problem with a BCD during a dive can have disastrous consequences, which is why it is so important that you take into account all of these precautions
- Clean and grease with silicone grease both the inflator and the different mechanisms frequently
- Store it dry, slightly inflated and in the shade
- Make sure you do not leave anything in the pockets, because if any item remains inside for a long period of time it can cause damage to the vest
How to choose the perfect jacket
The BCD or compensator maintains the hydrostatic balance during the dive at any depth, allowing the diver to have a neutral buoyancy under the sea (i.e., that neither rises nor falls); it will also make the dive more comfortable, by facilitating the holding of the tank, while its pockets allow us to store numerous items; although it is not the most important thing when selecting a BCD, it is something that we must take into account (both the number of pockets and their width, so that they are more accessible), since it will affect our comfort when we are underwater (surely we will not like to miss a pocket to keep what we must uncomfortably carry in hand.
You can see that there are numerous models on the market; each one of them has specific characteristics, although all of them have a manual inflation and deflation system (with the mouth), one or more quick emptying valves and a safety valve to prevent explosion due to overinflation.
We can say that the jacket is essentially a bag that receives air and compensates our buoyancy.
Its capacity can vary greatly from one model to another, being established between 14 and 27 liters, varying naturally and proportionally depending on the size.
As for the material used for its manufacture, it is usually nylon of different densities (measured in deniers) ranging from 420 to 1500 deniers.
The most advisable is to opt for a vest that has 840 or 1000 deniers for sport diving.
In addition to the aforementioned pockets, the jacket will have other accessories such as rings, which will also be useful for transporting some elements. Well, we will value in them that they are stainless steel and never plastic (a much more fragile material with which we run the risk of losing what we hang on these rings).
We will also check that the part that will be in contact with our back is padded, so that we do not damage the area.
Lately there has been an increase in the sale of "technical" jackets, so called because they have pockets to incorporate ballast, although we must bear in mind that this implies carrying the jacket thoroughly.
It is also advisable that the vest has a comfortable waistband and buckles that are easy to release. The trachea should have inflation and deflation buttons that are easy to operate with the left hand, and its length should allow the mouthpiece to be at chest level.
