Vitamin complexes
In principle we can talk about two types of vitamin supplements:
- Broad spectrum vitamins and minerals: these can be chosen according to the horse's needs. These supplements ensure that the horse has everything it needs according to its level of work and are the easiest to supply. They come in powder, pellet and liquid form and usually come with a dispenser to add to the feed
- Specialty supplements: must be used very carefully so as not to exceed the vitamin limits that could become toxic to your horse, especially if they are being mixed with other substances. These products are normally used by professionals or by people who participate in high competition.
