MAINTAINING THE HARNESS
Like any safety item on board, the harness should always be in perfect condition for the moment you need to take hold of it.
Contrary to what many people think, if we do not take proper care of the harness, it will lose its performance without showing any obvious signs of this, which is even more dangerous.
Para for proper maintenance of your harness, bear in mind the following rules:

• Rinse it well in fresh water after each use
• Check the stitching often
• Never store it in a damp place
• Replace the harness whenever you find any sign of wear, even if it is not obvious. It may make you angry to think that it has seen minimal use, but it is preferable to do without it rather than risk using one that may break
• If you are a sailor or a regular user of the harness, we remind you that it is advisable to change it once a year

And finally, a piece of advice that you should follow to the letter: Never use the harness for a different purpose than the one it is intended for.
